    GP1800 Gas Consumption

Don't get me wrong, I understand that any of these supercharged watercrafts eat like crazy.

I signed off on my GP1800 today and was curious as to how comparable the gas consumption would be to my 08 RXPX..

Same, little worse, little better? I know my PX was terrible but I also ran it very hard so I can totally see why lol.

Also how much does it cost for you guys to fill up your 18 gallon tank with 93 octane on your GP?

Do the math, price per gallon, times gallons in the tank.

If you are out just cruising it's not too bad on fuel. Last weekend I did 49 miles on 9.5 gallons of gas. 40-45 mph cruise with some high speed blasts thrown in. Yamah manual claims something like 22 gph at full throttle so you could suck down a tank pretty fast if you ride it really hard

I agree. The yamaha supercharged skis aren't bad on gas if you keep them under boost (which I believe is like 5.5k rpms). I've done 100 miles on my '09 FZR like this. Otherwise ya, they burn through gas pretty quick.

I have a 18 Gp 1800. Compared to my RXTx 300 I think it gets great gas mileage. I added stage 1 tune and still no problem. Actually about the same.

I came from a F-12X. I could ride most fo the day before the fuel alarm. The GP seems to burn gas about 50 to 75% faster. If I'm riding hard, I can hit 1/4 tank in less than two hours. Speed has a cost.

Update on my ski I added stage 2 and the ski runs 85 now and fuel consumption didnt really change at all compared to my old RXTX 300. Finishing off the stage 3 kit now cant wait. Gonna be interesting with the stage 3 kit which uses bigger wheel and bigger injectors. Ill keep you posted.
